Second extract lifted from his forthcoming debut album - "Unanimously", Kadosh's new collaborative single with afrofuturist-in-chief Floyd Lavine "My Mind (featuring Erika Krall)" routes us onto baroque melodic territories; fusing the hip-swaying swagger of rhythmic house with elements of folk-laced pop and an infectious train-like chug that puts on the burners when necessary. Suave as it gets and bristling with a vivid synthetic fauna, from flocks of ever satisfying piano stabs to subtly inlaid polyrhythmic patterns, "My Mind" navigates the interzone between timeless musical motifs and the search for new shapes and articulations in dance music. With Erika Krall's spellbinding voice to guide us into Kadosh and Lavine's exotic jungle of sound, fear not losing yourself in some of this luxuriant tableau's nooks and recesses.
